Summer Fayre/Garden Party

with Strawberry Cream Teas - Saturday 6th September 2008

We prayed and prayed and prayed... but it rained! But that did not stop people arriving to sample the delightful Strawberry Teas prepared with loving care by a small team. Busy people baked a variety of fruit pies and cakes and enough scrummaging was done to fill a tombola table. Visitors sat and chatted about the Ritz being bombed - ask George he was inside - and also had time to reflect and pray in the Church.

A relaxing afternoon which raised £151. A big thank you to all those who gave up their time to attend by visiting and a bigger thank you from Tom to all those who stayed and helped.
